Drew Burgess DanceLife Retreat Center

Ohio native, Drew Burgess has served as a master teacher for Dance Masters of America regional and national conventions, Dance Educators of America regional and national conventions, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, the DanceLife Retreat Center and others. Currently he serves on the faculty of Acrobatic Arts; certified in modules one through three and he travels to studios from coast to coast teaching and choreographing.

Drew's professional career began as a child on Live with Regis during Amazing Kids Week. His corporate and live entertainment credits include: GMC, Nestlé, Reebok & American Greetings with Taylor Swift. He toured worldwide with Rasta Thomas’ Bad Boys of Dance as a Swing in “ROCK the Ballet” & “Romeo & Juliet”.

He trained at L.A.’s EDGE, Millennium, Fusion, and the PAC Annex.

Drew has adjudicated for NexStar, Headliners, and American Dance Awards. A former competitor himself, he was a Jr. Mr. Dance of America and Mr. Dance of America. He is certified by test to teach in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, & Acrobatics through DMA & DEA.  

Drew’s students have been awarded Teen Miss Dance of Arizona, Male Dancer of the Year, Miss Dance of Ohio, & Mr. Dance of America. He is the recipient of the Sherry Gold Memorial Choreography Award
