The retreat experience includes complimentary meals, snacks and beverages. We accommodate both vegetarian and gluten free options when reserved two weeks prior to the event. Contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 508.285.6650 for special meal requests.
We will offer complimentary round-trip transportation from the hotel to the retreat center and all notes or manuals for the retreat.
Studio Owner Retreats
The DanceLife Retreat Center's business retreats have helped hundred of school owners and their management teams to reach their full potential both financially and as confident leaders of successful schools. All participants will receive a continuing education certificate at the completion of the seminar.
In a small group setting, Rhee Gold, Sandi Duncan and others will facilitate a retreat to rejuvenate your dance spirit. Join like-minded teachers and studio owners who live the life as you revitalize your passion to be the best mentor, leader, teacher (studio owner) that you can be.
Real teachers' classes designed to offer curriculum, classroom strategies, combinations, choreography and more for a variety of ages. Attendees may register independently or school owners may register their faculty. All participants will receive a continuing education certificate at the completion of the seminar.
Who Can Attend?
Business owner retreats are open to studio owners only, however, a studio owner can register their, faculty, studio managers, significant others, or those associated with the business side of the school. Movement and motivational retreats are open to all studio owners and teachers.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: What are the age requirements?
A: Minimum age is 16 for movement/teacher retreats and age 18 for business owner retreats.
Please note that the retreat center is not an option for advanced students seeking master classes; the objective is training teachers the hows and whys of teaching the movement from preschool through advanced levels.
Q: What is the closest airport?
A: We are conveniently located between the Boston (Logan) and Providence (Green) airports, about 35-40 miles to either one. Best options to travel from the airport to the retreat center/hotel are Uber or Lyft.
We do have a preferred car service, MCS Limousine: advance reservations are required.

The cost is maximum of $90 plus tip + tolls one way, totaling about $115, Note: your cost may be less if MCS can group you with other attendees arriving at the same time. Payment is submitted directly to MCS Limousine.
Q: What is the attire?
A: Think casual for the entire seminar; comfortable dance attire if you choose to participate in movement classes. We prefer no shoes (except for tap classes) when inside the retreat center; ballet shoes, socks, flip-flops, or bare feet are fine. Bring a sweater or light jacket for a possible evening, outdoor seminar.

A: Bring a notebook, laptop, or tablet to take notes; video devices may be used during most movement retreats. Please confirm with the teacher.

The DanceLife Retreat Center provides free shuttle service to and from the Holiday Inn Taunton, located less than 2 miles from retreat center. Special rates are offered to attendees.
Reservations must be made at least 21 days prior to the start of your retreat to guarantee discounted block rate.
